The club AGM will be held @ The Queens Hotel, Penzance on Wednesday the 18th of November 2009. Welcome to Mount's Bay Pilot Gig Club. We are a community based gig club in the heart of the ancient village of Marazion, Cornwall. We have been gig rowing out of Marazion since 1986 and have gone from strength to strength ever since. Competing at world class level, the club has a welcoming base of members.
Andy has been rowing with the club since 2007 when he joined the juniors section. Since then his commitment and skill level has gone from strength to strength. His first Scilly experience was in the best placed C crew the club has ever fielded at the championships. Since then, he has progressed to the men's A crew achieving two 3rd places at the world championships, a Newquay championships 3rd place and finally a mixed county championships 1st place in 2012. In his spare time, he enjoys a good laugh with the lads and works for our chairman!
