As usual Caradon delivered a brilliant well run event living up to the high standards they set.
The first rounds got under ay very promptly with all crews progressing through to the second round. It must be noted that at this point all crews got soaked through as the heavens opened, the bridge offered no shelter this year as the howling wind blowing straight up the river did not allow for any shelter. The wind also caused some more problems throughout the day, the gazebo (s) decided they were going to fly off.After swiftly retreiving them, the volleyball net set up by Cattewater was made swift use of!
In round two we saw again most crews going through and the same for the quarters.In the finals, the Mixed A came 5th!Ladies Vets came 2nd!Men’s Vets came 3rd!Fantastic results!Full results will follow, see CPGA or GigRower for full results when they become available.
